New Month, New Routine
I am really excited about the start of August. Why? There are so many reasons!
One of the major reasons for my excitement is I am starting a new workout routine with the Bikini Body Guide (BBG) by Kayla Itsines.
Yesterday I downloaded the Sweat with Kayla app, got all of the equipment together at my gym, and worked out my legs/booty until exhaustion with the app's circuits.
A cool down and relaxing yoga with downward dog were beyond necessary to ease the soreness felt today.
I got started with BBG for one word: community.
On Instagram, I have seen so many people become encouraged and transformed on the inside and out by their commitment to BBG's daily work out routines, guided recipes, and, most of all, each other's journeys.
Noticing all the BBG girls and women who root for each other and encourage one another really grabbed me. It also helps that someone I really admire: Jera aka Workout Bean is starting it up!!
My fitness life has been pretty lonely. Beside going to SoulCycle, I do not have much of a community who I workout with and that is what inspired me to start BBG.
It also helps that these workouts really get you into shape and help you build confidence! Anyone else doing BBG or interested in joining?
