Me and my hair are frenemies. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it.
The major reason for our strained relationship is hair growth. My hair just doesn't grow fast enough for me!
Thus, I've tried all brands of vitamins, including Nature's Bounty, Hairfinity, and Manetabolism. You name it, I've most likely tried it.
Not only did they not really show accelerated hair growth, but they also left my skin with cystic acne that was not worth continued use. This was with drinking around 3 liters a day!
That's why when I heard of ItWorks, I was hesitant. Does it really work? And why does everyone on social media endorse, sponsor, or distribute this brand?
I caved in last week when I saw someone I follow on Instagram and Snapchat post her before and after photos from just one month. This was all with the ItWorks Hair Skin and Nails (HSN) product.
As almost all hair growth vitamins, it contains a high percentage of biotin. What I did notice is that it contains MSM, which is supposed to be great for hair growth. How?
Apparently, MSM short for Methylsulfonylmethane, lengthens the growing stage of your hair so that you can achieve longer hair before it sheds. (FYI - I love looking at informative articles, such as this one, on hair growth.)
I am starting out with 2 tablets a day and making sure I drink 3 liters of water a day. I am on my 6th day so it is way too soon to check in with results.
I will keep you guys updated if "itworks" when I finish my first bottle! Does anyone else use ItWorks products? If so, how has your experience been?!
